Tiffani Taylor Paintings To Be Displayed at Global Conference

An award-winning series of three original paintings by Savannah artist Tiffani Taylor has been chosen for display at Yale University during an international conference next month.

The series, “Flower Patinas,” consists of three paintings, “Pink Poppy Patina,” “Expressionistic Flower Market,” and “At the Flower Market.” It received third place honors at the Solidarity Generation Competition earlier this year and now will be displayed at the North America Decade of Dignity and Development Conference at Yale on September 25.

The World Youth Alliance is a global coalition of young people which promotes human dignity and solidarity among youth from developed and developing nations. The Alliance trains young people to work at the regional and international levels to impact policy and culture.

The Decade of Dignity and Development Conference celebrates the 10th anniversary of the World Youth Alliance’s founding. All the events of the conference will fall under the theme Solidarity Generation and are designed to encourage the physical, intellectual and artistic interests of the participants.

The paintings will be on display locally from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, at the Irene Sullivan Gallery, 18C Tybrisa Street, on Tybee Island.
